Review: Urban Decay Sin Primer Potion
23 December, 2009
A little under a year ago, Urban Decay released a counterpart to their cult classic UDPP called Sin. Designed to be wearable as a shadow itself or as a base, it has all the powers of the original (making your shadow stay put, helping bring out colour) but instead of it drying down semi-clear, it is a shimmery champagne colour.
And to me, it is a fun product. Let’s get it out of the way. If you are truly in a pinch, you can slap that on the lid with a little darker colour, ie Twice Baked, in the crease and outer third and you’ll have a complete eye look. It’s also good with neutrals or shimmery shades to help bring them out more, but I noticed NO DIFFERENCE in how my regular shadows adhered to the base. Once more, I noticed no difference in ability to bring out the colours.
The thing going for it is that it is the same price as the regular primer-but at the same time, I really only see it as being terribly must-have worthy if you are someone who likes simple looks, or if you are somebody who wears neutrals a lot. I am fine with my regular primer potion, thank you:)
