New ULTA Ad (30 August-5 September)
31 August, 2009
Alrighty, this ad this time is a newspaper ad, so hopefully you saved it! This week, the main deal is a coupon for 20% off your entire purchase, including selected prestige cosmetics! It’s not every brand, but I will get to it in a little bit. On the front cover though is a deal-$10 liters ($12.50 without coupon) for Sexy Hair, Graham Webb, Artec, American Crew, and Rusk. I definitely want a Sexy Hair liter for colour care, since I am getting my hair coloured, but the local TJ Maxx has that as their everyday deal. And inside? More haircare goodness. Paul Mitchell has duos for $17.60 with coupon ($22 without) of various styling products, and Matrix has the Biolage Colourcare travel set for $8 with your coupon ($10 without). Tigi has a couple deals as well-a Biggie size of both the Manipulator and After Party for $15.60 with coupon ($19.50 without), and Headrush (spray shine) and Superstar (blow dry lotion) in a set for $14 ($17.50 without coupon).
Additionally, Joico has a quad of the K-Pak-10 ounce shampoo/conditioner, and 1.7 of Hydrator and Reconstructor, for $15.96 ($19.95 without coupon). All Redken is B2G1 free, as is all KMS, all Alterna, and all Chi/Biosilk liquids. Moving into all sorts of other good things, ULTA Bath’s Black Cherry and Melon Mango are 60% off (50% off without coupon), and all other ULTA Bath is B2G1 free. A trio of 2 ounce Strivectin tubes is $108 with coupon ($135 without), and Tweezerman tweezers are $20 with coupon, $25 without. Selected cosmetic bags, sunglasses, and hair accessories are 35% off with coupon, however Caboodles IS excluded from this go around.
In prestige makeup, Fusion Beauty has a value set of minis of the Lip Fusion XL and Lash Fusion XL for $16 with coupon ($20 without). Amazing Cosmetics has their Amazing Concealer for $22.40-$28 without coupon. Pur Minerals has the Pur-Fect Starter Kit for $28 ($35 without coupon), and it features the pressed mineral powder, a universal marble powder, a mineral glow, and a chisel brush. Smashbox and Bare Minerals, meanwhile, have one kit each eligible for the discount. Smashbox’s is $39.20 ($49 without coupon) and it features Halo To Go, a travel size of their High Definition foundation, a travel size of the High Definition Concealer, and of course, a sample of Photo Finish Primer-classic. The BE kit, meanwhile, is the Get Started kit, which will be $48 with your coupon ($60 without). It has the two foundations, the mineral veil, the Warmth, the DVD, and the three brushes.
Too Faced, meanwhile, has the Lash Layering Kit for $15.60 ($19.50 without coupon), and it has both the Lash Injection and Lash Injection Pinpoint. On the note of other sales, L’Oreal has their Colour Riche lip colours for $7.49 with coupon ($9 without), as does Revlon have their Double Twist mascara. Almay and Sally Hansen have items for $6 with your coupon ($7.50 without)-Almay with the Pure Blend eyeshadows, SH with the nail art pens. All ULTA colour cosmetics, minerals, and brushes, meanwhile, are B2G1 free.
Hot Tools has their 1.25″ gold curling iron (I highly recommend Hot Tools Gold, coming from someone with very thick hair) for $24 with coupon ($30 without), while Ken Paves is introducing his new line of styling tools. I haven’t tried his stuff, but he was the hair guru to Jessica Simpson, so I would trust him with my hair in a heartbeat. And our final deal? All CHI stylers are $20 off, and you can use your 20% coupon. For example, the Ultra CHI 1″ flat irons from the shimmer collection? Only $80. You’re saving well over 30%!
Now, about the coupon: You can use it on Amazing Cosmetics, Strivectin, Fusion Beauty, Pur Minerals, and Too Faced, as well as the spotlit Bare Minerals and Smashbox kits. The exclusions are all other prestige skincare and makeup, fragrance, Go Smile, T3, and hair artistry brands (ie Fekkai, Jonathan Product). This is a one-week only special, so I’d take advantage of it if I were you!
