FOTD: I Hate Vampy (4 August 09)

4 August, 2009

Today is a look where I admittedly am rushing to finish a few shadows before the big M-A-C party so that I can at least B2M for Crest the Wave! It’s a simple look for when I need makeup on but know I’m not doing anything special! I love the combinations, personally. The eyes, cheeks, and lips all stand out (at least in person) but neither one overwhelms the other, and the lip combination works so well with my hair, skin, and eyes. It’s a severe but understated lip.

You need:
Eyes: Estee Lauder More than Mascara, Benefit BadGal liner, Urban Decay Dime liner, Beautiful Iris shadow, Pink Freeze shadow, Stars ‘n Rockets shadow, Rose Blanc shadow, Cranberry shadow
Cheeks: Spaced Out blush, On A Mission blush
Lips: Oh Garnet lipstick, Glamour O.D. Dazzleglass

Dupes: Rose Blanc=Shroom or Nylon, your choice. Spaced Out=Peachykeen. On A Mission=Breezy. Oh Garnet=no dupe. Glamour O.D.=Love Alert.

Directions: Using a 226 or similar brush, apply Beautiful Iris all over the lid. Use a 217 to apply Rose Blanc from the crease to the brow, and then use the 226 to apply Cranberry in the crease. Use the 226 to apply Stars ‘n Rockets on the outer third of the lid, and then apply Pink Freeze on the inner third. Line the bottom line with Dime, and line the waterline with BadGal before finishing off with More than Mascara on both top and bottom lashes. Sweep On A Mission along the cheekbones and apple of the cheek with Spaced Out on the underside, and finish with Oh Garnet on the lips lightly topped with Glamour O.D.
