FOTD: Lazy Summer (6 July 09)

6 July, 2009

Today I am doing something a little different-two looks! The first one is the actual basic look, the look that I would wear anytime-and a look I will have to rely on if they’re going to use me as a VBS teacher (Vacation Bible School; something put on by my church with two other area churches). Then, later today, we’re going to go artistic. We’re talking glitter and everything! Oh yeah, the colours I am using are all ones that I have hit pan on and I am trying to finish them in the next month or so because I want empties for the M-A-C collection.

Basic Look
You Need: Eyes: Rose Blanc eyeshadow, Beautiful Iris eyeshadow, Pink Freeze eyeshadow, Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow, Goldmine eyeshadow, Diorshow mascara
Cheeks: Pretty Baby Beauty Powder, Tippy blush, Solar Riche bronzer, So Ceylon MSF
Lips: Tropic Glow slimshine, Glamour O.D. Dazzleglass

Substitutions: Rose Blanc=Shroom. Pretty Baby=no dupe (for this usage). Tippy=Pink Swoon. Solar Riche=your bronzer of choice. So Ceylon=Gold Deposit applied with a 187. Tropic Glow=Sweetie. Glamour O.D.=Love Alert.

Directions: Apply Rose Blanc from the crease to the brow with a 252, and use a small shadow brush to apply Beautiful Iris all over the lid. Use a 219 to apply Pink Freeze on the inner corner of the eye, and then use it with Stars ‘n Rockets on the outer third. Blend well. Use a 209 to apply Goldmine as a lower liner, and then apply mascara. Buff Pretty Baby all over the face to give a nice even look, and then swirl Tippy onto the apple of the cheek. Apply bronzer along the cheekbone, and then buff So Ceylon all over the face. Finally, one cost of Tropic Glow topped with one coat of Glamour O.D. will finish it.
