New ULTA Ad (7-27 June)

4 June, 2009

So the main thing about this: Benefit is now being stocked at ULTA! Everything from my personal favourite, BadGal Lash, to Dr. Feelgood, Benetint, Erase Paste, and more. It will be in the prestige area, in case you had any questions, but trust me, it’s worth it. It skews higher than MAC and Urban Decay, but lower than Dior or Chanel. Continuing in the Prestige department, Smashbox has brang new Limitless Long-Wear lip glosses, which are a longwear with SPF 15. They retail for $21, and there is a Reflection High Shine gloss for $19. When you make ANY Smashbox purchase, you get a free sample of the Photo Finish primer!

Elizabeth Arden actually has a GWP with a $24.50 purchase, and you get your choice of bag with organizer, plus samples of the Ceramide Gold capsules, the 2/1 cleanser, and the Prevage anti-aging cream, along with a lipstick and an eyeshadow quad. While EA may not be the most fun brand out there, you have to tip your hat to them, being that they are vehemently anti-animal testing. Pur Minerals has a free Eye Defining pencil with any purchase-it’s an eyeliner with a sponge-tip on the end. Bare Minerals has a free refillable compact with case when you purchase the Get Started set, and they also have a brand new oil-control Prime Time for $21. Urban Decay not only has the Get Baked eyeshadow palette-which has four shadows, a mini Bourbon 24/7 liner, and a mini of Sin primer potion-but they also have the new Skyscraper mascara.

Essie is B2G1 free-and about time! They have their new neons in, and I just bought Funky Limelight today (albeit from Beauty Works). I am definitely getting the others-Perky Purple, Punchy Pink, and Flirty Fuschia. They also have Mesmerize and Greenport, although I dunno how new they are.

Moving into values, Revlon’s eyelash curler and Almay’s makeup remover pads are $3 each. L’Oreal’s new Extreme Volume mascara is $6, Olay cleansing cloths are $4, and Garnier’s eye roller is $10. Sebastian Shaper and Shaper Plus hairsprays are $6, the Eco Tools 5-piece brush set is $8, and Sally Hansen’s spray-on hair remover for the shower is $6. Selected haircare is B1G1 50% off-ULTA brand, John Frieda, Got2B, Tresemme, and more. Selected suncare, all Neutrogena, and RoC items are as well. Same goes for Caboodles train cases, cosmetic bags, hair accessories, all L’Oreal (you can mix and match L’Oreal), Maybelline, Max Factor, Cover Girl, NYX, Prestige, and so forth. All ULTA eye, lip, and nail products are 3/$10, as well as Andrea or Ardell lashes/accessories.

And it’s free gift time! With a $12 Physician’s Formula purchase, you get a free eye makeup remover, With a $12 Revlon purchase, you get a free nail polish. With a LaCross Pedi-Perfect purchase, you get a free Sally Hansen nail polish. And with a $12 Almay purchase, you get a free mascara. Also, when you buy any two ULTA Bath, Smoothies/swirl creams, or sun items, you get a free jelly watch in either yellow, hot pink, or white. The jumbo shower gels and smoothies are $10 a bottle. And in skincare, you get a free tote bag filled with travel-sized favourites with an H2O Plus purchase, a beach towel and tote with a $22 Ahava purchase, and cosmetic bag with three products with a $30 Vitabath purchase.

Murad has a brand new serum that is $89, and trust me, I love vitamin C serums. You also get a free sample of the Essential-C SPF 30 day cream with it, which is good. Dermalogica has a “Glow and Go” skin treatment event, where for $20 you get a treatment to revitalize skin-as well as a free Age Smart kit.

There are several coupons, however nothing particularly interesting. The only thing is BOGO on Jerome Russell Punky Colour. On the note of hair, the CHI Ceramic 1″ iron is $100, and the FHI Nano Weight black dryer, 1″ flat iron, the Rusk ceramic iron, and speed freak dryers-all $80. All men’s grooming tools are 20% off, and selected stylers are $14-including Conair’s Big Curls travel hairsetter, the Revlon retractable cord Ion dryer, and so forth. Tigi has several sets on sale-the Party Adrenaline (After Party and Headrush) or the Stick Em Up (Hard Head and Hair Stick) for $20. The Fun & Fabulous Duos-Foxy curls shampoo and conditioner, or Inflate your Ego (Ego Boost and Superstar) are $18, and the summer survival duos, for both blonde and brunette hair, are $30. Kenra has sprays with travel sizes for $15, Nioxin has Travel Bags for $20 (conveniently in a quart bag), and American Crew gift sets are $30. All Paul Mitchell is B2G1 free, too.

As far as fragrances go, you get a free cooler of your choice with a $30 purchase. One of the coolers has a dock for an iPod and built-in speaker, one is a bucket, and the third is actually a folding stool-way cool. I’d go the third one. There are also several free gifts with purchase of select perfumes, albeit mens only.

Finally, the front coupon is $3.50 off $10 or more….which will be used on the nail polishes.
