Clinique: Holiday 2008

7 November, 2008

Now I don’t use a ton of Clinique products. However, for many people, these are the best option, as they are relatively well-priced, as well as being allergy-tested and fragrance free, which is very important in this day and age. The skincare ain’t bad, and the mascaras are amazing! Anyways, they have trotted out a ton of great giftsets for Christmas.

The first big one is the clutch. It’s $36, and it is packaged as everything needed for on-the-go touchups. You get little sizes of the eye makeup remover and All About Eyes, as well as a small size of High Impact mascara, a mini lipstick, and then a 6-shadow palette. Colour-wise, I like these shades better than MAC’s palettes this Christmas! It’s very well priced, you get a lot of product for your money, and if you are buying at Nordstrom right now, you can also get the GWP-so you get a lot of bang for your buck.

There’s a set with the Glosswears, where you get four minis for $25. The Glosswears are a nice, basic gloss. They are good if you aren’t wanting to go too dramatic with the lip, they have SPF 15, and it is a very appropriate set to give to a girl in her early teens because they tend to be on the sheerer end.

If you are into the skincare, there are sets for that as well. The main one is the three-step set, where for $59 you get full AND travel sizes of the cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. It is really good if you are planning to travel, because these are airport-approved sizes, and just to have on hand in general.

Finally, of course, there are perfume sets. They mostly revolve around Happy-including a bottle where you can insert your own picture! While I have never tried Happy before, I am definitely considering it. For $50, you get a set that has a 1.7, a small body cream, and then a dual-ended doohickey-one end has a rollerball perfume, and the other end has a mini Glosswear.
